Program Overview:
This two-week intensive internship offers a comprehensive introduction to the accounting profession. Interns will gain insight into different career paths, develop technical accounting skills, and participate in real-world business consulting projects. The program includes expert-led training sessions, guest speakers from top firms, technical workshops, and personal development exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily training sessions covering fundamental accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and business advisory.
  • Engage in interactive workshops on public speaking, leadership, and career development.
  • Work on real-world accounting tasks, including financial analysis and the use of accounting software such as Xero and Excel.
  • Collaborate with peers in team-building activities and group projects.
  • Attend guest speaker sessions and panel discussions featuring industry professionals.
  • Take part in mock interviews, CV workshops, and LinkedIn training with professional recruiters.
  • Conduct business consulting exercises, including SWOT analysis and case study evaluations.
  • Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software such as Quickbooks and Xero.
  • Help with the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts.
