Your Role at Baxter

As an Account Transition Specialist, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our portfolio of Advanced Surgery products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, building relationships, and establishing trust with clinicians and stakeholders with our Baxter customers.
As the primary connection to our Advanced Surgery Customers that rely on our products to save and sustain lives, you are the face and voice of our products and services. You will be responsible for fostering connections between Baxter teams to drive business results. The insights and feedback you share with your team and cross-functional partners inform priorities and ensure customer needs are being met.
Home Base: Preference on being based in the Tampa FL, Atlanta GA, Birmingham AL, Dallas or Houston TX.
Travel: 25% around territory and some overnights if needed
What you’ll be doing
Calling on targeted accounts within a defined geographical area, field‑based, with assigned annual quota
Sales support to include various activities including but not limited to demos, on site customers support, order/supply assistance, coordination of Baxter teams, general support of customer
Tradeshows, as well as educational event support
Assist with customer training needs
Support business presentations, QBRs, and customer/Baxter updates
Support team on marketing and any cross functional field sales support needs specific to Advanced Surgery
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum 2+ years of experience in field sales or field sales support role in the medical device field.
Strong understanding of common computer software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Tableau, and AcuityMD preferred.
Strong presentation skills
Proven success working within large multifaceted teams
The estimated base pay range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually, with additional opportunity to earn sales incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
