Adult Social Worker needed for our Adult Social Care Team in Eastbourne paying £32ph!

About the role

East Sussex is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker (minimum 2 years post-qualified experience) to join our dedicated Adult Social Care team.

You will be responsible for undertaking Social Care Assessments and Safeguarding Enquiries in line with current legislation and statutory guidance. The role involves working closely with both individuals and families, ensuring person-centred, strengths-based interventions that promote independence and wellbeing.

You will work under the direction of the Practice Manager or Senior Resource Officer and collaborate with multi-agency partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake comprehensive Care Act assessments and reviews
  • Complete safeguarding enquiries in accordance with statutory duties
  • Develop and implement care and support plans
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and partner agencies
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and case discussions
  • Ensure all work is compliant with relevant legislation and local procedures
