AI Solution Architect / Engineer (ServiceNow)

<p>STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.</p><p>Our global solutions team is seeking an experienced <strong>ServiceNow AI Solution Architect / Engineer</strong> focused on the solutioning, design, implementation, and optimization of next-generation AI capabilities within ServiceNow for our global media & entertainment client's enterprise environment. Our team plays a key role in the implementation and delivery of key ServiceNow features and you'll be responsible for leading the configuration, integration, and enablement of ServiceNow's AI Agent Studio, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Generative AI Controller components.</p><p>You'll work our team and with different client business and engineering teams to understand their specific use cases, and enable these within the ServiceNow ecosystem of AI products and solutions.<br>Our ideal <strong>solution architect</strong> combines deep technical ServiceNow expertise with a strong understanding of AI use cases, data governance, and enterprise architecture. Our goal will be to bridge our client's business objectives with the rapidly evolving ServiceNow AI landscape. You will act as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on engineer ensuring AI capabilities deliver measurable business value today and scale effectively for future innovation. We are setting up interviews immediately for this project and if you think you have what it takes to make an impact with an incredible team, we'd love to hear from you!<br>The project work will be accomplished Monday - Friday, and the role and work can be done remotely within the United States.<br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>As a <strong>solution architect</strong>, design and implement ServiceNow AI solutions including AI Agent Studio, Generative AI Controller, and Now Assist capabilities across key business domains.</li><li>Lead AI enablement initiatives, translating client business goals into actionable AI workflows, intelligent agents, and automations.</li><li>Integrate ServiceNow with external AI ecosystems using Model Context Protocol (MCP), ensuring secure, standardized communication between enterprise assistants and the platform.</li><li>Assess and optimize the current ServiceNow landscape, identifying technical readiness, data quality, and configuration needs to support AI adoption.</li><li>Develop proof-of-concepts and production rollouts demonstrating measurable ROI through AI-driven automation and user experience enhancements.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams-platform admins, data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders-to define, test, and deploy AI use cases.</li><li>Establish governance frameworks for AI use, including prompt safety, data protection, and Now Assist Guardian configuration.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation including design artifacts, data flows, configuration guides, and best practices.</li><li>Mentor implementation teams and client personnel on AI capabilities, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and LLM model management.</li><li>Stay current with ServiceNow AI roadmap releases, MCP standards, and generative AI trends to proactively guide client strategy and solution evolution.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong><em>Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end implementations of ServiceNow's latest AI capabilities, including GenAI Controller, Now Assist, AI Agent Studio, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Candidates must have led full lifecycle implementations (strategy, architecture, configuration, integration, deployment, and optimization). Partial implementations, proof-of-concepts only, or user-level exposure to AI features will not be considered sufficient.</em></strong></li><li>5+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience, with at least 2+ years focused on AI, Virtual Agent, or Now Assist capabilities.</li><li>Proven experience with ServiceNow architecture, flow design, and integrations (REST APIs, MID Servers, or external connectors).</li><li>Hands-on experience with Generative AI Controller, Now LLM Service, or external LLM provider integrations (Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Anthropic, etc.).</li><li>Working knowledge of AI Agent Studio setup, orchestration, and configuration for domain-specific workflows.</li><li>Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI integration standards; ability to architect secure, standards-based connections between systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of AI Search, RAG, and knowledge management design principles in ServiceNow.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred; Now Assist or AI Specialist certifications highly desirable.</li><li>The <strong>solution architect</strong> should demonstrate strong collaboration within <strong>IT</strong> and <strong>Information Technology</strong> environments to ensure enterprise-level scalability and governance.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Details<br></strong>The base range for this contract position is $80-100/per hour, depending on experience.<br>Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
