This is a critical senior leadership role, responsible for setting the commercial direction of the area and enabling sustainable growth across all Maersk products and solutions.<br><br><strong>The Role<br><br></strong>As the Area Head of Sales for UK & Ireland, you will own the commercial agenda end to end — shaping strategy, leading execution, and building a high-performing sales organisation aligned with Maersk’s integrator ambition.<br><br>This role is not about managing transactions. It’s about leading transformation: moving from siloed selling to integrated, value-based solutions; from volume focus to profitable growth; and from individual performance to collective, customer-centric impact.<br><br>You will act as both strategic architect and hands-on leader — engaging senior customers, empowering teams, and ensuring disciplined execution across markets, segments, and industries.<br><br>We offer flexible working locations across the UK and Ireland, provided you are within reasonable commuting distance of a Maersk office.<br><br><strong>What You Will Lead<br><br></strong><strong>Commercial & Sales Leadership (UK & Ireland)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Own all commercial and sales activity across the UK & Ireland, delivering sustainable growth across volume, revenue, and profitability. Use market and customer insight to shape differentiated propositions, improve customer experience, and represent Maersk in complex negotiations.
