Assistant Service Advisor (Blue Shift)

National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC) is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused RV Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will be responsible for managing the service department and ensuring customer satisfaction with our services. The successful candidate will work closely with the service team to identify customer needs and provide solutions to any issues that arise.
Shift: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 7a - 7p; alternate Sundays
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and provide them with a positive and professional experience
  • Listen to customer concerns and identify their needs
  • Document and accurately communicate service requests to the service technicians
  • Ensure that all necessary parts and supplies are ordered and available for the service technicians
  • Schedule service appointments, maintain an organized service schedule and manage the service department's workflow
  • Inform customers about service recommendations, provide them with estimates of costs and obtain customer or warranty approval prior to work being performed
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their RV throughout the service process and any additional repairs that may be required
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service appointments and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed
  • Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure their satisfaction
  • Provide excellent customer service, handle any customer concerns or complaints, and ensure that any issues are addressed promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Service Advisor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of RV repair and maintenance
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and service software programs
  • Valid driver's license
Working Conditions:
  • This job may require standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • The work environment may be noisy and include exposure to fumes, dust, and other hazards associated with working in a service department.
  • The position may require working weekends or holidays depending on customer demand
