<div> <h2>Job Title</h2> <p>Performs a variety of routine sample preparation and analysis procedures to support Manufacturing and Quality Operations. Follows validated or experimental analytical procedures with periodic direct supervision. Revision and compilation of results and data comparison against test method acceptance criteria, methodology, protocol and product specifications.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <p>List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and scope.</p> <ul> <li>Perform method troubleshooting.</li> <li>Perform laboratory and/or manufacturing investigations and studies.</li> <li>Write technical documentation according to established procedures.</li> <li>Perform tasks related to commercial and non-commercial production, technology transfer and/or validation projects.</li> <li>Maintain statistical control charts for the department's Laboratory or process monitoring.</li> <li>Responsible to comply with AbbVie and Quality Operations policies, plant procedures, and GMP and GLP regulations and requirements.</li> <li>Conform to EH&S management system requirements and compliance obligations, promote continuous improvement and consider EH&S aspects during the design and change process. Comply with all EHS procedures and policies including incident reporting, use of PPE, waste management and disposal and any other program applicable according to position duties.</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Technology, or Medical Technology.</li> <li>Experience: Less than two years of related experience is typical.</li> <li>Active Learning: understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving.</li> <li>Critical Thinking: use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, or approaches to problems.</li> <li>Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish</li> <li>Practical Knowledge: Analytical Instrumentation. Laboratory systems, such as LIMS, and HPLC CDS.
