About the Role:

Are you passionate about great coffee and even better conversation? Identity NH is looking for energetic, community-minded Baristas to join our growing team. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just love the smell of fresh beans, we provide the training you need to craft the perfect cup. We are currently hiring for our established Meredith and Waterville Valley spots, with a primary focus on building the foundation for our brand-new Lakes Region location opening this summer!

Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, food industry setting while contributing to a lively community space.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, and baked goods.
  • Provide exceptional, friendly service that makes our regulars feel at home.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities with precision and integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and serving procedures in a clean, welcoming, and "upscale yet relaxed" environment.
  • Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and assisting with stock rotation. Putting away deliveries.
  • Participate in comprehensive training starting this Winter into Spring to master our signature menu.

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience or background in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential!
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Knowledge of basic math for cash handling, register balancing, and sales calculations.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to drive in Winter weather necessary for our ski area location.
