Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using Toast POS
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
  • Take orders for drinks and food, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures.
  • Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills by balancing multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while providing attentive customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting; fine dining experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and cash handling.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
  • Experience with brewing or beverage preparation techniques is a plus. Candidates should possess a passion for hospitality, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be committed to creating an enjoyable environment for all guests.
