Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, personable, and reliable Bartender to join our historic restaurant in beautiful Sandwich, NH! Experience in the restaurant industry is highly preferred, with an emphasis on prior bartending or serving experience. We are looking for either part-time or full-time and are flexible with hours and days available!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and speed
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience
  • Manage POS systems such as Clover for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
  • Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and policies
  • Assist with the overall success of Service and be a team player and a helping hand to coworkers when needed
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills, process payments efficiently, and balance registers at shift end
  • Previous experience as a bartender is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele in a lively environment
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining quality service and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math proficiency, and accurate order processing
