Our conveniently located clinics are open for extended hours to look after the needs of our patients and our communities. With a team of skilled individuals working alongside with over 70 family physicians, specialists, and allied health providers, our goal is to get our patients healthy, quickly and safely. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Bilingual Service Coordinator/Medical Assistant who has the passion to deliver the best possible care to our patients. Summary: The Bilingual Service Coordinator/Medical Assistant will participate in delivering services and outreach activities. This is a permanent full-time position (4-5 days a week, including weekends and evenings).

Location: Remote in New Brunswick

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual administrative support to physicians, pharmacies and allied health professionals
  • Directs telemedicine requests to our providers in an appropriate and efficient manner
  • Provides support to telemedicine clinics, by interacting with physicians, patients, and pharmacies and tracks metrics.
  • Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to: registering patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, following up on consults and test results, obtaining required documentation
  • Obtains key demographic and health related information and registering this information accurately and efficiently into the EMR
  • Provides assistance to doctors and allied health providers
  • Supports management and perform administrative tasks for service delivery
  • Performs outreach calls to provide information on telemedicine services, generate leads, and schedules appointments with account managers.
  • Attend to call centre messages on a continuous basis
  • Perform other duties related to clinic operations

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (French/English) mandatory
  • Administrative experience/customer service experience is an asset
  • Previous medical administration experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn
  • Computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of EMR and G-suite is an asset
  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Knowledge of CRM is an asset
