Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist

This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, timely payroll processing, and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate has hands-on bookkeeping and payroll experience, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has prior experience using ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll · Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time for multiple entities · Manage payroll through ADP Workforce Now (preferred experience) · Maintain employee records, wage changes, deductions, and benefits updates · Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations · Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end filings (W-2s, etc.) Bookkeeping & Accounting Support · Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy · Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements · Process accounts payable and receivable · Assist with monthly close and financial reporting · Track expenses, invoices, and vendor payments · Support outside accountants with documentation and reporting as needed Administrative & Compliance · Maintain organized financial and payroll records · Assist with audits, reviews, or compliance requests · Coordinate with management on financial data and reporting needs QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE · 3+ years of bookkeeping and payroll experience preferred · ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred · Proficiency with QuickBooks · Strong understanding of payroll laws and best practices · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy · Ability to handle confidential information responsibly · Strong organizational and time-management skills Flexible work from home options available.
