Branch Services Representative- Part Time - Part-time

Taunton Federal Credit Union is looking to hire a service oriented individual to assist our members with a variety of financial transactions and servicing.  If you enjoy working in customer service, but are looking for a career and potential for advancement, this is the position for you.  The Branch Service Representative establishes and builds relationships with our members through service.

This is a Part Time position in our Middleboro Branch.  Shifts will be 5 days a week from 8AM to 2PM. Occasional Sunday shift coverage may be necessary.     


Essential Functions

  • Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits and loan payments.
  • Perform account servicing requests both in person and via telephone. 
  • Answer phones and conduct appropriate research to resolve member inquiries.
  • Educate members on products and services that could benefit them.  

 

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Personal Characteristics:

  • 2 years cash handling experience preferably in a bank or credit union setting.  
  • High energy level, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and follow up on tasks.
  • Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities and stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Strong computer skill including MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work branch hours as needed including Saturday and Sunday.
  • Reliable transportation required.


Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.
