About the position

The Business Process and Controls Specialist, Group Insurance is a key role within the Inquiry & Resolution Team at Prudential, responsible for developing and executing initiatives to address complex business challenges in the Group Insurance service model. This individual contributor position requires collaboration across the organization to identify solutions, establish control measures, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on initiatives designed to address complex business challenges or opportunities requiring corrective action.
  • Develop project plans and communication, document business and control requirements, and manage timelines, resources, dependencies, and risk across all initiative activities.
  • Provide resolution governance process guidance and foster council engagement.
  • Evaluate business opportunity and operational impact, leveraging operational and project management expertise to develop consistent, risk-considerate, and customer-focused solutions and recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of goals and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Work closely with SMEs to gain a deep understanding of specific processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal control partners to ensure that solutions comply with organizational policies and external regulations.
  • Effectively communicate plans, progress, dependencies, and risks across cross-functional team members and leadership.
  • Implement and coach on best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
