<p>The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Peds Inpatient Psych role at Johns Hopkins Medicine is a unique and challenging opportunity to provide direct patient care and assist in the daily operations of an inpatient pediatric psychiatric unit. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a certification as a Nursing Assistant and be knowledgeable in providing direct patient care, including assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and monitoring patient health. Additionally, we require a minimum of one year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, or other healthcare environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, an ability to work effectively in a team setting, and a passion for patient care. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and monitoring patient health. Adhere to the hospital's policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, their families, and hospital staff. Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in medical records. Assist in the daily operations of an inpatient pediatric psychiatric unit. Display a strong commitment to patient safety.
