Your day to day:

As a Club Lounge Food & Beverage Attendant, you will ensure the overall condition of the Club lounge is impeccable, and the set-up, presentation and the quality of food offerings are up to the standards and expectation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features and services, hours of operation.
  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Set up workstation with necessary supplies; maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
  • Promote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the Club Lounge at all times.
  • Ensure breakfast is setup in a timely manner an according to specifications.
  • Coordinate correct breakdown of Breakfast and prepare mise-en-place for teatime.
  • Arrange for pastries be brought up to the Lounge in timely manner for teatime.
  • Prepare proper set up for Happy hour according to departmental standards.
  • Ensure all guests' requirements during happy hour, waiting on tables, replenishing of the food served during happy hour.
  • Complete correct break down of happy hour and proper set up for breakfast for the next day.
  • Ensure the Club Minibar is always stocked in a timely fashion.
  • Accommodate all requests for information in a congenial manner.
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.
  • Adhere to hotel requirements for guest/employee accidents or injuries and in emergency situations.
  • Ensure security of guest room access.
  • Coordinate amenities with Room Service, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on hotel premises and contact Security to escort off property where necessary.
  • Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering. Contact Engineering directly for urgent repairs.
  • Always maintain the coffee machine neat, tidy and ready for use.
  • Prepare setup table for breakfast for the next day.
  • The conference room has to be always neat, tidy and ready to be occupied according to company standards.
  • Document pertinent information in department logbook.
  • Double check cleanliness of coolers, food rotation & food quality.
  • Inspect food presentation during daily breakfast and happy hours and address any issues directly to F&B.
  • Inventory of daily transfers from F&B.
  • Manage inventory and rotate items in the Club cage.
  • Keep track of what have been received and pending.
  • Inspect amenity presentation before the amenity is sent out to the VIPs room.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum:
  • High school graduate
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Guest Services.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding, both in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to provide legible written communication to a high standard.


This job requires ability to perform the following:
  • Carrying, lifting and/or pushing items weighing in excess of 150+ pounds
  • Communicating with other people

Other:
  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
  • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, and organizational abilities are used often.
  • Ability to communicate in a second language (Spanish or French) is preferred.


This position may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays and requires flexible/alternating schedules, due to business needs and groups/events.

The hourly pay rate for this role is $15.00.
