Content Marketing Executive | EdTech | Hybrid (Manchester) | £35,000 – £40,000

A fast-growing EdTech company based in Manchester is looking for a Content Marketing Executive to join its expanding marketing team.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll create high-quality content that drives brand engagement, supports lead generation, and increases web and online visibility across multiple digital channels. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years’ experience in a content-focused marketing role (e.g. Marketing Executive, Content Marketer, Copywriter, SEO/Content Executive) and be keen to develop their career within B2B digital marketing.

Role Responsibilities

Create and optimise high-quality content, including blog articles, email campaigns, website pages, social posts and adverts, ensuring consistent tone of voice and messaging.

Support SEO performance through keyword research, content optimisation and on-page best practices to drive organic traffic growth.

Collaborate with internal marketing and design teams to produce content and visuals aligned with campaign and business objectives.

Develop content that drives engagement, lead generation and brand loyalty using compelling storytelling and audience insight.

Localise content for US audiences while maintaining consistent brand messaging.

Apply audience insights and marketing psychology to shape messaging and content strategy.

Monitor and analyse content performance, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Use AI and modern marketing tools to improve efficiency and stay up to date with industry trends.

Requirements

Proven experience in content marketing or a similar role (e.g. Marketing Executive, Content Marketer, Copywriter).

Degree in Marketing, English, Psychology or equivalent industry experience.

Strong writing and editing skills, with examples of high-quality content.

Interest in developing SEO and organic marketing expertise.

Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and optimisation is desirable.

Benefits

£35,000–£40,000 salary, depending on experience.

Hybrid working: Monday and Friday from home, Tuesday–Thursday in Manchester.
