Coordinator, Human Resources

The Wonderful Company is dedicated to offering high-quality, healthy brands and fostering a collaborative workforce. They are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will manage various HR processes, support employee onboarding, and ensure accurate data management within their HRIS system.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding process including creating/sending welcome emails, completing I-9s and E-Verify, and maintaining spreadsheets related to orientation and benefits
  • Complete accurate data entry for all transactions in the HRIS system including data changes, new hires, transfers, promotions, and separations
  • Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to support employees across multiple business units and ensure timely completion of HR transactions across the enterprise
  • Prepare letters and change memos for data changes and promotions
  • Maintain organizational charts to reflect current workforce structure and reporting relationships
  • Support payroll accuracy by auditing timecards each pay period and completing historical corrections, as needed
  • Run and distribute employee and time related reports to support payroll, compliance and HR operations, as needed
  • Collaborate with various departments such as Payroll, IT, and Finance to create and maintain standard work documents (SOWs) and detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support employees with HR related inquiries such as user log in issues, request for verification of employment, and HRIS related questions
  • Maintain employee files to ensure all documents are timely and correctly electronically filed
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy and consistency across HR Operations
  • Consistently meet payroll and compliance deadlines in alignment with company regulatory requirements
  • Reduce rework or escalations related to HRIS transactions through attention to detail and proactive issue resolution

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role
  • 1-2 years' experience supporting an HR related function preferably with a data-oriented focus
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, ADP)
  • Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills in communicating with employees
  • Excellent customer service skills and detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Visio)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate effective time-management skills in an environment with competing deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to complete and follow-through on all tasks
  • Ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
