Position Overview: The position of Corps Ministry Assistant will work in Ministry and Music programs, Christian Education and Discipleship programs, and Social Development Programs. Along with any other duties as deemed appropriate and necessary by the Corps Officer. Responsibilities Duties: Participate in the creation, development, and implementation of essential army programs programs for the Corps. Lead youth outreach initiatives. Assist Corps officer with VBS, Kids Fest, after-school program, day camp, and all youth-related events. Ensure all setup and facilities are prepared for service weekly. Assist in children’s programs as needed. Help with transportation to all youth programs. Assist with all daily programs Pick up weekly food donations and ensure they are put away. Distribute Thank you letters to donors. Drive youth to Camp Ladore with Corps Officer or other staff member. Other duties as deemed appropriate and necessary by the Corps Officer. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Moderate to Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to effectively multitask and follow through consistently and strategically Must be well organized, proactive, able to work independently and follow up accordingly Must be computer proficient, able to use email, PowerPoint, and other media easily and effectively as deemed appropriate. Must demonstrate good judgement, leadership characteristics and work well as part of a team.
