Our work depends on Customer Service Specialist II joining our team to provide support via the telephone and/or Internet to resolve routine issues and respond to customer inquiries. You will be answering inbound phone calls from Medicaid Providers for billing or enrollment.  These calls are not scripted; there is knowledge to be learned to understand and help the providers with their Medicaid claims. HOW A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Takes and processes transactions by telephone, internet and correspondence from customers and representatives Enters and maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports Acts as liaison for customers Maintains knowledge of company products and customer service processes WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Required Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience Required Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Required Skills and Abilities: Strong telephone and verbal communication skills Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively Location: Hybrid and on-site at 22 Corporate Woods, Albany NY The likely hourly rate for this position is between $16.57 - $22.43. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
