Cybersecurity Analyst – Work from Home

Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our remote team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organizations systems, networks, and data. You will proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security threats, ensuring that the organizations infrastructure remains protected from cyber threats. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents across a variety of systems and platforms.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks.

  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to protect organizational assets.

  • Respond to and investigate security breaches, ensuring prompt mitigation and reporting.

  • Provide recommendations to enhance the security posture of the organization.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed during system deployments.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

  • Provide training and awareness programs to staff on best security practices and protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in a cybersecurity role, with hands-on experience in threat detection, response, and mitigation.

  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.

  • Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.

  • Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection software).

  • Ability to analyze logs and events to detect suspicious activity or vulnerabilities.

  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and security configurations.

  • Certification such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar is highly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.

  • Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.

  • Proven track record of successfully responding to and mitigating security incidents.

  • Experience with risk management frameworks, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.

Working Hours:
