Digital Sales Manager

A dedicated Digital Sales Manager role will focus Midwest national digital sales . This AE will serve as a subject-matter expert, bridging the gap between traditional national sales and the rapidly evolving digital and programmatic ecosystem. The position will ensure Nexstar’s digital inventory is proactively pitched, competitively positioned, and seamlessly integrated into client media plans.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

- Develop and grow revenue-driving relationships with midwest media buyers and agency partners through proactive outreach and collaboration with Nexstar’s national sales team.

- Educate Midwest marketplace on new NexstarCTVplus offering and additional digital solutions. Align with client objectives, positioning inventory for maximum scale, precision, and performance.

- Educate Midwest holding company and independent agency partners about the value and reach of NexstarCTVplus for activation, strengthening Nexstar’s CTV portfolio for digital activation.

- Infiltrate digital first mid-tier agencies within the region to drive new business across the Nexstar Digital portfolio.

- Partner closely with programmatic and operations experts to deliver flawless execution, campaign pacing, and insight driven reporting

- Serve as a trusted subject-matter expert on programmatic buying models (open exchange, PMP, curated deals) across Nexstar’s SSP and DSP partnerships.

- Understand client business objectives and align company solutions to address their goals and capture revenue.

- Collaborate with Nexstar’s Midwest National Sales, Product and Revenue teams to deliver integrated multi-platform campaign proposals and ensure unified client communication.

- Continuously gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product enhancement, inventory packaging and audience targeting capabilities.

- Support NSO team from a digital sales & strategy perspective as a subject matter expert.

o Assist in Ad Product development specific for NSO marketplace

o Coach & Train NSO AE’s on products & sell thru tactics

o Build relationships with key local digital investment teams across agency hold co.’s & Indy agencies to develop preferred enterprise partnerships

- Meet and exceed assigned sales goals.
