Summary: 
 
The Director of Event Production is responsible for events including Miami Dolphins home games and special events, international soccer events, Miami Open tennis tournament, F1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix and other major events held each year at Hard Rock Stadium. This person would work in coordination with multiple internal departments to execute the full vision of all live entertainment.  
 
 
Location:
 
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage the content creation, run of show and asset coordination for all Dolphins home games, Hard Rock Stadium international soccer matches, Miami Open and the Formula One Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix
  • Be the Director for Miami Dolphins home games, select Dolphins events and the Formula One Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix
  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for Corporate Partnerships on contractual obligations and ideation of new asset inventory
  • Collaborate closely with Broadcast Operations and I.T. on technical system upgrades related to improving the fan experience and home field advantage
  • Liaise with the various sporting governing bodies, TV broadcast and event partners/promoters
  • Maintain beneficial relationships with new and existing vendors, contractors and part-time event staff
  • Exercise a forward thinking and innovation-focused mindset to drive the overall entertainment value for the fan
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree 
  • Minimum of 4+ years leadership experience in live event production (preferably sports)
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Football League, its rules and regulations and the game of football. 
  • Knowledge of standard major broadcast control room equipment and operations. 
  • Skilled or proficient in Ross Xpression 
  • Excellent interpersonal, managerial and organizational skills, and the ability to interact with departments across the Miami Dolphins organization
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills 
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize 
  • Ability to work nights, long hours, weekends and holidays
  • Must always demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with a team-first mentality
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft and Adobe suite of programs
