The Role

We are looking for a Director of Marketing Communications. You will play a pivotal role in leading the integrated marketing, brand and communications strategy for Pan Pacific Singapore, a flagship luxury hotel.

The role is responsible for brand positioning, commercial marketing performance, strategic partnerships, digital strategy, media relations, sustainability communications and revenue-aligned campaign development across Rooms, MICE, Food & Beverage, Lifestyle, Loyalty Programmes, Partnerships, and online portfolios.


Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Brand Leadership

  • Develop and execute integrated brand strategy to position the hotel as a leading luxury, business and culinary destination in Singapore.

  • Align marketing initiatives with commercial objectives and long-term asset positioning.

  • Serve as strategic advisor to senior leadership on brand visibility, awards strategy and reputation management.


Budget & Commercial Accountability

  • Lead annual marketing budget planning and allocation.

  • Monitor performance metrics across paid, owned and earned channels.

  • Optimise return on investment (ROI) for all campaigns and initiatives.

  • Align marketing investment with revenue growth across Rooms, MICE, Food & Beverage, Lifestyle, Loyalty Programmes, Partnerships, and online.


Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop the Marketing Communications team.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Revenue, F&B, Culinary and Operations teams.

  • Drive performance culture grounded in measurable commercial outcomes.


Public Relations & Media Engagement

  • Lead all public relations strategy and media engagement across local, regional and international markets.

  • Drive award participation strategy to enhance brand credibility and market leadership.

  • Maintain strong relationships with media, influencers and industry stakeholders.


Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Architect and oversee integrated digital strategy, including PPC, GEO, SEO/SEM and performance-led campaigns.

  • Oversee multi-platform social ecosystem.

  • Optimise content strategy to enhance audience engagement and conversion.


Culinary & Chef Brand Amplification

  • Elevate the hotel’s culinary positioning through strategic storytelling and chef brand development.

  • Support visibility and recognition of award-winning chefs and F&B outlets.

  • Identify high-impact collaborations and partnerships that enhance brand equity and chef brand visibility.


Sustainability & ESG Positioning

  • Integrate sustainability-led messaging into brand and communications strategy.

  • Leverage sustainability initiatives to strengthen stakeholder engagement and market differentiation.


Partnerships & Loyalty

  • Oversee brand collaborations.

  • Support loyalty programme positioning, including Pan Pacific DISCOVERY, Pan Pacific Connections and Pan Pacific Privileges.

  • Identify partnership opportunities that drive incremental demand and visibility.


Online & Revenue Marketing

  • Oversee eShop strategy and promotional planning.

  • Develop campaigns that drive online revenue growth and voucher sales.

  • Align digital campaigns with revenue management and commercial strategies.


Talent Profile

  • Minimum 12 to 15 years of senior marketing experience within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands.

  • Proven experience leading integrated marketing strategy for high-value hospitality assets.

  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated budget planning and ROI accountability.

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Strong media network and partnership development track record.

  • Familiarity with platforms and multi-market marketing ecosystems preferred.

  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
