Position: Director of Product Management - CRM Technology

Salary: $195K - $215K/yr d.o.e. plus benefits

Location: Remote OK (If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work 2 days on-site)

We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Director of Product Management – CRM Technology to lead the strategy, buildout, and scaling of our custom CRM platform and the broader ecosystem of integrated third-party CRM solutions.

This leader will own the end-to-end product strategy for a mission-critical sales technology platform serving Loan Officers, Sales Leaders, and other Sales teams. The role will drive the development of a homegrown CRM tailored to mortgage lending workflows while architecting a flexible ecosystem that seamlessly integrates with external CRM platforms, POS & LOS systems, marketing automation tools, communication technologies, and data services.

You will lead a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Owners and partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver a CRM platform that improves lead conversion, sales productivity, customer engagement, and operational transparency.

This is a transformational leadership role with three core mandates:

  1. Define and drive CRM product strategy
  2. Build and scale an exceptional product organization
  3. Align the enterprise around a modern, connected sales technology ecosystem
Responsibilities:

What You Will Own

1. Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate a compelling long-term vision for our CRM and sales technology ecosystem.
  • Establish a clear roadmap for building a differentiated, mortgage-native CRM platform.
  • Architect the integration strategy across LOS, POS, Marketing Automation, Data Platforms, and third-party CRMs.
  • Translate company growth goals into measurable CRM outcomes (conversion, pull-through, speed-to-lead, retention, productivity).
  • Evaluate build vs. partner decisions and drive ecosystem strategy.

2. CRM Platform Development

  • Lead discovery, ideation, validation, and delivery of CRM capabilities
  • Ensure the CRM supports retail, consumer direct, and partner-driven channels.
  • Drive API-first design to enable seamless integrations with third-party CRMs and internal systems.
  • Champion user experience and usability tailored to Loan Officers and Sales teams.

3. Organizational Leadership

  • Develop, and mentor Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Elevate product craft across discovery, strategy, prioritization, analytics, and execution.
  • Establish strong product operating rhythms: roadmap reviews, OKRs, metrics reviews, quarterly planning.
  • Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and customer obsession.
  • Develop future product leaders within the organization.

4. Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution

  • Partner with Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure CRM adoption and business impact.
  • Drive prioritization using frameworks such as RICE, WSJF, and data-driven evaluation.
  • Establish clear success metrics and continuously measure adoption, productivity, and ROI.
  • Lead executive-level updates and influence strategic decisions.

5. Measurement & Impact

You will be accountable for measurable improvements in:

  • Lead conversion rates
  • Speed-to-lead
  • Sales productivity
  • Loan Officer engagement & adoption
  • Data visibility and pipeline transparency
  • Revenue impact tied to CRM initiatives
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience.
  • 5+ years leading and developing Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Proven experience building or scaling CRM and/or Sales Technology platforms.
  • Strong experience in Mortgage Lending and understanding of the loan origination lifecycle.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM ecosystems (e.g., custom platforms, Salesforce, HubSpot, mortgage-specific CRMs, marketing automation tools).
  • Experience designing API-driven platforms and system integrations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and drive enterprise alignment.
  • Highly analytical with strong comfort leveraging product analytics and business metrics.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
