Role Overview The SigmaNEST Director of Sales will oversee sales for our software solutions in the Northern United States and Canada. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in sales growth strategies and ensuring customer satisfaction with technical service delivery and high-quality support. You will play a strategic role in driving revenue, expanding market share, and developing a skilled team to handle complex customer needs. This role is a remote position. While the ideal candidate is based in the Cincinnati area, we welcome applicants anywhere within the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets and increase software market share within the territory. • Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying growth opportunities, securing new clients, and expanding within existing accounts. • Forecasting: Maintain a rolling forecast for the business which produces and accuracy of +5% and -3% on a quarterly basis. This includes the need to manage and communicate on pipeline. • Tools and process advancements: Lead the team through the implementation of new tools to grow the sales funnel - intro and use of Salesforce, Apollo, and GONG as examples. • Artificial intelligence (AI): Strategically leverage AI in your workflow and promote it the Team's processes to gain efficiencies throughout the Sales organization. • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, in separate "Hunter" and "Renewal" roles, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This also includes overseeing the management of Resellers, their recruitment, enablement, arenaflex setting, and performance management. • Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the escalation point for complex technical issues and ensuring a high level of service. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and engineering teams to optimize customer experience, product positioning, and solution delivery. • Sales Analytics: Analyze sales performance metrics, provide insights to senior management and implement improvements for continuous growth and efficiency. • Contract Negotiation & Service Agreements: Negotiate sales contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) with clients to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs. • arenaflex management: Manage go-to-market costs in accordance with agreed upon sales and expense plan. • Key Account management: Serve as the main contact and conduit to the SigmaNEST organization for a few specified "key accounts" (depending on territory and customer strategy) with a focus on expansion, solidifying renewals, and customer satisfaction. • Specific Territory coverage: Potential to serve as an individual contributor sales professional in a small portion of the Region to balance territory loads and also stay close to all the policies/procedures your team experiences with the focus of continuous improvement. Qualifications: • Experience: 15+ years in sales within CAD/CAM or software solutions, with at least 5 years in a people leadership position. • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge of CAD/CAM software solutions and applications in manufacturing processes. • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and develop talent. • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, develop actionable insights, and drive strategic decisions. • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with high-level stakeholders and key customers. • AI: Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools or automation to improve productivity and operational effectiveness, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and apply such technologies at scale. Travel • Must be able to travel up to 50%, with variability based on project needs Compensation Range: This role is eligible for commission. The On-arenaflex Earnings (OTE) is $150,000 - $250,000 This good‑faith compensation estimate reflects the expected on‑arenaflex earnings for this role.
