<p><b>Job Title:</b> Document Controller - (Renewable Energy Projects)</p><p><b>Rate:</b> £250 per day (12-month contract- Outside IR35)</p><p><b>Location:</b> Fully remote (UK) with occasional London site/office face time if helpful (not essential)</p><p>You know that calm feeling when a fast-moving project is actually under control - everyone working from the same drawings, the latest revisions in the right hands, and nothing critical going missing at the worst possible moment. If you’re a Document Controller who thrives on bringing order to complex construction programmes, this contract will give you the scale, pace and autonomy you’re looking for.</p><p>You’ll be joining a high-performing delivery team working across major UK infrastructure and construction projects, including utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and large multi-disciplinary builds spanning both private sector and government environments. It’s a role where your grip on quality, compliance and version control genuinely protects progress.</p><p><b>What you’ll do</b></p><p>You’ll manage the full document lifecycle across electrical and civil scopes, ensuring drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, schedules and project correspondence are accurate, current and traceable. You’ll maintain clear workflows, enforce naming conventions, manage transmittals, track approvals, and protect audit readiness. Expect close collaboration with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and external partners, making sure Procore stays clean, current and easy to navigate.</p><p><b>About the company</b></p><p>Our client is an established, mission-led energy and construction delivery organisation supporting major UK programmes. They operate at the intersection of infrastructure, sustainability and complex construction - and they value people who take pride in doing the detail brilliantly.</p><p><b>About you</b></p><p>You’re an experienced Construction Document Controller who understands the realities of live projects and the importance of disciplined document management across civils and electrical packages. You’ve spent at least two years using Procore document management software (and you can confidently own it day-to-day), and you’re comfortable working remotely with multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines.</p>
