Headquartered in Buffalo, NY, Hanes Supply has six other branches in the United States.

Position Summary: Responsible for growing and managing products on our Amazon platform, specifically within the Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) sphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gain familiarity and eventual proficiency within the Amazon FBA user interface
  • Create FBA shipping plans with documentation, shipping labels to FBA warehouses
  • Shipping and packing products
  • Maintain inventory in FBA warehouses and branches
  • Monitor Amazon account in regards to listings, orders, and contacting Amazon’s support team
  • Research and identify what product listings with pricing and inventory levels are best in different locations.
  • Build on and add skus to the websites to increase sales and grow our online business platforms.
  • Learning the ever changing landscape of sales on Amazon.
  • Communicating with 3rd party software platforms on performance issues which may require generating support tickets and tracking their progress.
  • Managing e-commerce marketplaces as well as our own.
  • Ongoing reporting and tracking of Ecommerce, and Digital Marketing metrics.
  • Constantly analyze the e-commerce business, as well as the competitive environment, to identify site experience and customer experience improvements that will drive incremental business.
  • Observes all safety procedures, rules and regulations, and instruction in performance of job duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have a basic understanding of e-commerce and a basic working knowledge of fundamental web technologies.
  • Aptitude for problem solving and the ability to self- teach is a must.
  • Demonstrates strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact initiatives.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Excel and basic data entry are required.
  • Time management proficiency with the ability to quickly change course when critical situations require attention.
  • Ability to analyze data and utilize this information to drive process, content or other changes.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly in response to pressing tasks.
  • Familiarity with FBA and/ or FBM processes on Amazon is preferred but not required.
  • Any Hubspot or CRM experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of web development tools and architectures is preferred, but not required.
  • Any Magento or Website building platform experience is preferred, but not required.

Level of Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience with Amazon marketplace, digital marketing, product management, or ecommerce is encouraged.
  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is encouraged.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or data entry is encouraged.
