The Opportunity

We are looking for an Electrical Regulatory Manager to ensure electrical compliance for P&G's device business. This role is part of the GPS (Global Product Stewardship) Department. GPS provides dedicated regulatory strategy and compliance support crucial at the global, regional and country level. You will report to the Head of Global Powered Appliances Central Capability GPS. You will be part of an international team of electrical regulatory specialists located across three continents. You will lead development & execution of regulatory strategies for the launch of new projects as well as ongoing changes to in-market products. You will work in collaboration with country level regulatory managers, R&D colleagues and commercial team.

You will lead the development of impact assessments for electrical appliances and action plans as regulations around the world change. You will monitor the electrical regulatory landscape and develop a P&G position, influencing strategy and future plans. Over time, you will represent the company in external technical discussion and interaction with external partners including regulators, norm committees, academic specialists as a Company expert of electrical regulatory. You will provide regulatory input into country influencing programs driving towards a favorable external regulatory environment and you'll build technical expertise in a specific product category globally.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field (such as radio transmission engineering, software engineering, or other engineering disciplines that gives familiarity with electrical devices and machinery).
  • Ability to develop and communicate technical positions to multi-functional teams with business and technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • 4-5 days onsite required at Mason or Ivorydale offices (near Cincinnati, OH).
  • Ability to travel occasionally based on business need (domestic or international).

Preferred:

  • Experience in electrical regulatory compliance management, approbation/certification or at an electrical approbation service provider.
  • German language skills are a plus.
