Equipment Purchasing Assistant

The Equipment Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Construction / Projects & Equipment Department for all UK & European Warehouses.

The duties will include:

  • Raising and logging all orders for equipment and projects for new and existing warehouses, ensuring timely delivery. • Providing support and advice for warehouses in relation to project work and equipment queries. • Managing the AS400, Google Drive and SMARTSHEETS systems, keeping all vendor, equipment and pricing details fully up to date for the UK, Spain, France, Iceland, Sweden and any future countries. • Carrying out general administration, managing spreadsheets and producing management information reports. • Updating, compiling and issuing company manuals, such as equipment specifications and signage information. • Collating and compiling Fiscal Year budgets for review and issue.

To be suitable for the Equipment Purchasing Assistant role you will:

  • Be computer literate with Word / Excel / Email / Google Drive. • Be able to work under pressure. • Be self motivated. • Be a team player. • Have good communication skills. • Be highly organised and able to use own initiative. • Fluent in Spanish and/or French desirable.
