You are self-motivated, eager to learn and contribute, and focused on providing high quality deliverables while driving efficiencies across the organization.  </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Establish strong relationships within the organization and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the internal audit team</p></li><li><p>Lead by example and manage a team of IT auditors to meet team goals and deadlines</p></li><li><p>Plan, review, and assist in executing SOX testing for all IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Automated Controls (ITACs)</p></li><li><p>Mentor and coach internal auditors to continuously improve skills including critical thinking and communication</p></li><li><p>Share ownership of SOX governance tool, AuditBoard</p></li><li><p>Partner with stakeholders to provide valuable control and process improvement recommendations</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with IT leadership, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to ensure audit findings are remediated in a timely and effective manner</p></li><li><p>Assist in the development of the Evercommerce Internal Audit team’s policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Understand and highlight risk areas and/or control issues through critical thinking and assessment of processes with a focus on technology and automation</p></li><li><p>Supervise and execute risk-based technology and cybersecurity audits with an independent and objective mindset</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the Internal Audit team through valuable recommendations and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support a ‘trusted advisor’ reputation</p></li><li><p>Assist and collaborate with external audit</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Must Haves: </span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p>At least 6<span> to 8 years of relevant experience within a large, complex environment in public accounting, consulting, and/or internal auditing (including 2 to 4 years of managerial experience)</span></p></li><li><p><span>CIA, CISSP, CISA or other designation preferred</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs) in relation to the overall ICFR audit opinion</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong knowledge and understanding of different technology infrastructures and related risks (strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud infrastructures is a plus)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Extensive knowledge and understanding of audit standards and practices</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong knowledge of information systems and ability to understand data flows that support financial reporting</span></p></li><li><p><span>Flexible management style committed to development of staff and continuous improvement</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work well both as a team member and independently</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work remotely and maintain engagement</span></p></li><li><p>Ability to thrive in change</p></li><li><p>Self-awareness of need for assistance or guidance</p></li><li><p>Positive attitude and kind approach to working with others</p></li><li><p><span>Confidence and the ability to work with all levels of staff and management within a large international company; and</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to tie details to the “big picture”</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Where: Remote, US</span></b><br />While headquartered in Denver, CO, the EverCommerce team is distributed across North America, with office locations in the multiple U.S. and Canadian geographies. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States.
