Executive Assistant - Human Capital Group

<p><strong>What is the Position? </strong>Evercore is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant for its Human Capital Group (HCG). This individual will support the Co-Head and the Managing Director (MD) of HCG, as well as support several of the teams Managing Directors and Directors. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on client-service, problem solving, and proactively resolving issues. The global HCG team consists of approximately 65 members and supports a premier global independent investment banking advisory firm of approximately 2,400 employees.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities: </strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Extensive calendar management: proactively prioritizing a constantly evolving schedule to keep the Co-Head and MD on track as well as monitoring the Managing Directors and Directors calendars</li><li>Anticipate and resolve potential scheduling / logistical conflicts with an appropriate sense of urgency and professionalism</li><li>Act as gatekeeper for the Co-Head and MD; diligently screen phone calls and internal / external inquires as necessary to maximize time of managers</li><li>Handle confidential materials for the HCG team with the utmost degree of care, integrity, and discretion</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working rapport with employees at all levels of the firm</li><li>Ability to liaise frequently with other departments within the firm to coordinate conference calls and meetings, as well as troubleshoot daily issues for the HCG team</li><li>Prepare and process expensereports utilizing Workday</li><li>Handle domesticand international travelarrangements</li><li>Provide additional administrative support including copying, filing, scanning, printing, preparing materials for internal meetings, setting up video conferences, booking conference rooms, ordering food/drinks, etc.</li><li>Participate in various ad-hocprojects and performother duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (required):</strong></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience</li><li>Punctual, organized, and extremely detail-oriented</li><li>Excellent analytical, time-management, and organizational skills; flexibility and ability to manage several priorities/projects in a very fast-paced environment</li><li>Superior communication and interpersonal skills– both written and oral</li><li>Strong team player with positive attitudeand willingness to assist with all assignedduties</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Office,Excel, PowerPoint and Word)</li><li>This position requires valid United States work authorization and is not eligible for visa sponsorship</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Sensitivity to confidential matters</li><li>Familiar with operating as part of a global team</li><li>Sound judgment – knowing when to escalate an issue combined with a willingness to be flexible and pragmatic when appropriate</li><li>Independent and strategic thinker</li></ul><p><strong>Hours</strong>: 9:00am – 6:00pm (with flexibility to start earlier/work later as needed) – 4 days in-office, Friday remote (unless in-office presence necessary)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Expected Base Salary Range: </strong>$100,000 - $115,000</p><p>In addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred equity.
