**Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Moderation Specialist**

If you're a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you! **Job Description** As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules. Deleting messages that violate our community standards, including but not limited to hate speech, harassment, and spam. Banning users who repeatedly break our rules, while also providing clear explanations for their actions and offering opportunities for growth and improvement. Muting users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruptions and maintain a positive community atmosphere. Investigating reports from users about potential rule violations, and taking swift and fair action to address any issues that arise. Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines, ensuring that our online spaces remain safe and inclusive for all users. Providing excellent customer service, responding to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need: To be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. To be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. To be proficient in Discord and other online community management tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. To be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team. To be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with flexibility to work more hours as needed. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus: Experience working in online community management or moderation, either as a volunteer or in a professional capacity. Knowledge of community guidelines, moderation policies, and online safety best practices. Experience with conflict resolution, mediation, or crisis management. Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with users from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
