This role requires strong aesthetic perception, confidence on set, and a clear understanding of how different brand identities translate into casting, styling, and model direction.</p><p>The role combines strategic talent sourcing with hands-on studio and on-set responsibilities, working closely with creative and production teams in a fast-paced ecomm environment. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Talent Management & Casting:</p><ul><li>Own end-to-end casting for all studio photoshoots, including e-commerce, social content, editorial, and campaign productions.</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of SHEIN’s in-house brands and their distinct aesthetics, customer profiles, and casting needs.</li><li>Propose relevant models for each brand on an ongoing basis.</li><li>Source, scout, and maintain a diverse and continuously evolving pool of model talent.</li><li>Build, expand, and nurture relationships with both local and international model agencies, contributing to the growth and diversification of SHEIN’s model roster.</li><li>Expand the London studio’s access to global talent by coordinating with overseas agencies</li><li>Organise and lead castings and go-sees in collaboration with internal teams.</li></ul><p>Studio & On-Set Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Brief models ahead of each shoot, ensuring clear understanding of brand direction, expectations, and deliverables.</li><li>Work on casting set to direct models according to brand guidelines, poses, energy, and styling requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with stylists and photographers to select appropriate outfits and ensure visual consistency with each brand, maintaining an updated fitting rail. </li><li>Monitor model performance and suitability, providing feedback and recommendations for future bookings.</li><li>Ensure model wellbeing and maintain professional standards at all times.</li></ul><p>Coordination & Studio Support:</p><ul><li>Partner with internal teams to understand shoot requirements and recommend appropriate casting solutions.</li><li>Manage casting schedules and calendars to ensure smooth studio operations.</li><li>Communicate clearly with models, agencies, and influencers when applicable.</li><li>Handle model-related logistics such as call sheets, travel, accommodation, and documentation when required.</li><li>Provide ad-hoc support to the Studio Manager and Production team, including covering producer holidays and assisting with sample management when needed.</li><li>Liaise with photographers regarding casting schedule</li></ul><p>Administration & Industry Awareness:</p><ul><li>Maintain accurate casting records and talent databases.</li><li>Stay informed on industry trends, emerging talent, and market rates to continuously strengthen casting streamline</li><li>Create reports related to model booking and casting volume</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years’ experience in fashion casting, model booking, talent management, or a related field</li><li>Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to distinguish and execute multiple brand identities</li><li>Confident on-set presence with experience directing models</li><li>Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure</li><li>Knowledge of the fashion and creative industries</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking or talent management tools</li><li>Professional photography knowledge and hands-on experience is a plus</li><li>Proficiency in Chinese is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p><p>SHEIN is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workplace environment.</p>
