<p>We are seeking a talented and experienced Footwear Buyer to join our team at Foot Locker. As a Footwear Buyer, you will be responsible for selecting, ordering, and managing the inventory of footwear that is sold in our stores. To succeed in this role, you must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and manage a team. You must also have an eye for trends and the ability to anticipate customer needs. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Responsibilities: Research and select the best styles of footwear to order and stock for Foot Locker stores. Monitor and manage the inventory of footwear in order to prevent stock-outs and overstocking. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of orders. Analyze customer needs and trends in order to anticipate future footwear demands. Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors to get the best deals and discounts. Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize profits and sales. Lead and manage a team of buyers and other staff members. Monitor competitor activities and prices to ensure Foot Locker's competitive edge. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions about product selection and pricing.
