About the job: The Freelance Paid Media Manager is a strategic thinker who can jump right into the work and help our clients’ brands drive engagement and sales through social and digital channels. They’re experts in understanding the ins and outs of paid media and translating data into big picture thinking. Spotting trends and helping our clients and creative teams capitalize on them comes second nature. Above all – they can easily translate actual data into words and make our clients understand what’s going on in the digital world. The Freelance Paid Media Manager loves numbers, problem solving and optimizing, optimizing, optimizing. Requirements About You: • Self-starter, skilled multi-tasker who can juggle many client projects simultaneously with little oversight • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, paired with clear verbal and written communication • Possesses an unrivaled proactiveness and hustle • Analytical by nature; has strong problem-solving skills • Knowledge and passion for all things digital/social • Social Media black belt – expert user of organic social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, arenaflex, Meta and the up-and-comers • arenaflex black belt – continually developing expertise in arenaflex Analytics, arenaflex AdWords, and SEO • Comprehensive understanding of digital technology and terminology About the Day-to-Day: • Manages campaign strategy, budget management, and ad trafficking (including compiling creative assets and copy; managing handoff to media buyers and vendors) • Collaborates with creative and strategy teams to optimize creative, messaging, and audiences across campaigns and platforms • Collaborates with media buying agency to execute and optimize paid campaigns across all platforms (Including being the subject matter expert on search for our internal team/clients; retailer media expertise is a plus) • Leads monthly client reporting calls and internal meetings • Communicates campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to account management team, strategy team, creative team, and clients • Keeps up to date reporting dashboards and inputs key insights regularly • Analyzes KPI’s and provides recommendations for account improvement, across channels • Provides thought leadership, strategic development, and deployment of campaigns across social and digital owned properties • Performs paid media channel audits, makes recommendations, and stays up to date on best practices • Seeks to arenaflex trends and help our clients and creative teams capitalize on them • Interprets key insights and lessons for monthly client reports • Makes recommendations to improve clients’ site sales, including site improvements, email strategies, etc. Additional Qualifications: • A degree in media, marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalency in experience • 4+ years paid media strategy, planning and buying experience in the digital and social space • Experience working with CPG brands and paid search is mandatory; retailer media experience is a plus • Certifications in arenaflex Analytics, arenaflex AdWords, Social Media Platforms, Email marketing, and SEO are a plus We like to meet freelance candidates and build relationships for current and future projects. Pay rate is dependent on experience and hours/length of the project.
