This role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through a combination of manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on frontend and<br>user interface (UI) testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation frameworks, programming languages like Python and JavaScript, and working in cloud-based environments such as Google Cloud with Terraform for infrastructure<br>management.<br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br></strong><ul><li>Perform manual and automated testing of user interfaces to ensure functionality, usability, and visual integrity. </li><li>Validate user interactions and responsiveness to ensure seamless user experiences. </li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain automated test suites using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. </li><li>Write and maintain test scripts using Python and JavaScript, leveraging TypeScript when applicable. </li><li>Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality checks. </li><li>Conduct exploratory, functional, and regression testing for various products. </li><li>Validate bug fixes and ensure no regressions are introduced during development. </li><li>Reproduce and document defects clearly for the development team. </li><li>Test API endpoints for functionality, performance, and security using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Swagger. </li><li>Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. </li><li>Collaborate with DevOps to validate environments hosted on Google Cloud. </li><li>Ensure testing environments are consistent with production-like configurations. </li><li>Create and maintain testing scripts using Python and JavaScript for automation. </li><li>Prepare detailed test plans, cases, and reports to communicate progress and results effectively. </li><li>Document defects comprehensively and track them to resolution. </li><li>Provide actionable recommendations to improve QA processes and software quality.<br></li> </ul><strong>Soft Skills:<br></strong><ul><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain QA tasks, deliverables, or challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. </li><li>Strong collaboration mindset; comfortable working cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams. </li><li>Proactive attitude – takes ownership of tasks and follows through to resolution without the need for guidance. </li><li>Organised and self-motivated with strong time management skills. </li><li>Open to feedback and always looking to improve processes and outcomes. </li><li>High attention to detail, with a mindset focused on quality and user experience<br></li> </ul><strong>Skills and Qualifications:<br></strong><ul><li>Proven experience in backend, frontend, and UI testing using manual and automated methods. </li><li>Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. </li><li>Solid API testing experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, or RestAssured. </li><li>Knowledge of Google Cloud and infrastructure management using Terraform. </li><li>Strong command of Python and JavaScript for scripting and test automation. </li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions. </li><li>Familiarity with TypeScript for typed scripting environments. </li><li>Strong understanding of manual and exploratory testing techniques. </li><li>Familiarity with agile testing processes and sprint-based workflows. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. </li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams. </li><li>Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance best practices.<br></li> </ul><strong>Preferred:<br></strong><ul><li>Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust. </li><li>Understanding of security testing principles and practices. </li><li>Knowledge of backend unit testing and database testing.<br></li> </ul><strong>Why Join Us?<br></strong>This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and innovative team environment.
