Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival

- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy of information

- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options

- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally

- Assist with reservations and room assignments using hotel management software

- Operate phone systems to answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or guest room

- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions

- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure clean and well-maintained guest rooms

- assist with maintaining the area of the common area

Experience:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred, training provided

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members

- Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly fluency in languages commonly spoken by our guests

- Familiarity with hotel management software is preferred, training provided

- Knowledge of front desk procedures, including check-in/check-out processes and handling guest inquiries, training provided

- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner
