Once known as “The Chalet” to locals, Burger Master Drive-In has been a staple in this Smoky Mountain valley for generations. Front of the house roles include but are not limited to...

  • Cashier: You will take orders and ring them in, as well as handle all guest payments.
  • Front Window Attendant: You will be handing orders out to customers, providing any other items needed (Condiments, utensils, etc). Double-check orders to assure everything is there and it is the correct bag for the correct customers. Your job is to make sure the food is properly going out and at a good pace, as well as keeping an eye on times and giving feedback to the front and back of the house on progress.
  • Ice Cream Station Attendant: You will be our specialist for all things ice cream. We have Flurries, Shakes, Cones, Novelties, and Sundaes. Quality is very important to us (presentation) and practice makes perfect. You will clean kitchen surfaces regularly by wiping of surfaces and ice cream splashes, maintaining a clean and health code regulated working area.

  • Greeting Customers: This part of the job includes social interaction between you and our guests. Our priority and duty as employees is to serve our guests and give them a hospitable experience.
  • Outside Duties: Our outdoor space is our dining area and restaurant's atmosphere. Overseeing our outdoor space will be a responsibility regularly cycled between front and back of house employees. Attention to detail is very important in this area. You will be in charge of cleaning the bar, making sure it is stocked for oncoming business, changing trash cans and yard pickup.
