Overview:
IST Management is seeking a Full Time Mail and Office Clerk for the Memphis, TN team! The Mail and Office Clerk will be responsible for providing corporate mail and other support services on-site in a team environment. Ideal candidates will be ready to grow their career in facilities and office services, and to take advantage of internal opportunities at IST Management for training and development toward advancement into management roles.

: $14.00 to $16.00 USD DOE

Responsibilities:

The Mail and Office Clerk will be responsible for providing corporate mail and other support services on-site in a team environment.

  • Shipping & Receiving/Mail Sort Services - Process/scan/sort incoming mail, preparation of mail and packages for outgoing shipments, interaction with mail vendors, read and record mail meters
  • Courier Services - delivery of mail and packages throughout office to appropriate client personnel
  • Working in a team centered environment completing tasks as assigned to uphold client and site needs; demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
  • Consistently adhere to business and safety procedure guidelines; take direction from supervisor or site management
  • Maintain logs, reporting documentation, and chain of custody; attention to detail
  • Participate in cross-training
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be ready to grow their career in facilities and office services, and to take advantage of internal opportunities at IST Management for training and development toward advancement into management roles. Prior experience in customer service and/or mail support/shipping is a huge plus! Other qualifications include:
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent communication skills
  • High School Diploma or GED, legal authorization to work for any employer in the US
  • Ability to meet employer's time and attendance policy
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; ability to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Proficiently skilled in Microsoft Office; computer savvy
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
