<p><b>Harbour & Warehouse Coordinator</b></p><p><b>Project Name: HOW03</b></p><p><b>Duration: 01-Jan-2026 - 31-Dec-2026</b></p><p><b>Business Unit: Construction</b></p><p><b>Job Classification: Offshore Operations & Logistics</b></p><p><b>Rotations: 2 weeks on, 2 wees off – 12 hours a day </b></p><p><b>Location: Grimsby </b></p><p><b>Description:</b></p><p><b>Tasks </b></p><p>• Assist the project HSE department regarding harbour site specific issues </p><p>• Management of safety equipment: PPE, climbing gear including keeping record of inventory and keeping track of the use of PPE, monitoring service life of PPE. </p><p>• Site stock management – consumables for the building </p><p>• Authorise all forklift and crane operation onshore and organise availability of crane </p><p>• Daily housekeeping on site and vehicles, general site upkeep management </p><p>• Building, facility and site boundary safety checks </p><p>• Monitor and record site electricity and water use </p><p>• Liaise with port waste management contractors </p><p>• Site office delivery management. </p><p>• Liaise with shipyard, site security company, and local site contractors. </p><p>• Call out –duty outside normal working hours. </p><p>• Data input of all PPE that requires certification </p><p>• Keep a quarantined area for damaged tools and PPE </p><p>• Supporting the construction management with ad hoc tasks </p><p>• Daily /weekly/ monthly/Annual building safety checks</p><p>• Generate proposals for supplies to be purchased </p><p>• Generate proposals for new PPE equipment to be ordered by Site Management </p><p>• Scrap failing PPE and lifting equipment </p><p>• Right to call for local suppliers for minor urgent jobs e.g. plumber</p><p><b>Responsibilities </b></p><p>• Supervision of harbour site activities </p><p>• All PPE is up to date </p><p>• Crane and forklift operations </p><p>• Stock and warehouse monitoring </p><p>• Maintenance of site facilities</p><p><b>Recommended relevant education: </b>Preferred craftsman or Storage Keeper with experience of managing calibration of tools, defining quarantined areas etc. </p><p>• Recommended years of experience from similar position: three to five years and local knowledge </p><p>• Recommended years of experience working in project matrix organisation: Not relevant </p><p>• Preferred driving license for forklifts </p><p>• Recommended years of relevant work experience within wind and/or construction: three to five years of work on construction site.</p><p>Working back to back on 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks of rotations with another Coordinator.</p><p>The client will cover Handling Dangerous Goods & GWO First Aid – paid directly by the Project to the training center. </p><p><b>The Consultant must bring his/her own PC and/or Iphone. External consultants’ equipment such as PCs, mobile phones and iPads must always be up-to-date with the latest iOS release. The owner must allow the clients AirWatch security and management software for iPhones and iPads to be installed. The app is mandatory on all mobile devices used by staff (including External consultants) to protect them from cybercrime. The owner must grant approval for to remove apps, data and access from privately owned equipment if it is deemed to pose a risk in relation to security or the GDPR regulations, if the equipment is lost/stolen, or if the owner ceases to have an active contract. When an external consultant leaves, they must contact the IT Service Desk to remove all apps and data. The IT Service Desk can only support privately owned equipment in connection with the clients AirWatch security and management software.</b></p>
