Head of Data & Analytics

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President, Data Engineering & Analytics - Customer Success, to lead our implementation and delivery organisation for large health systems, payers, and provider groups. This leader will oversee a 150+ member multi-disciplinary team responsible for onboarding customers onto the Innovaccer platform and ensuring successful deployments with measurable outcomes.


The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of deep healthcare delivery expertise, strong technical grounding in healthcare data standards, proven large-scale delivery leadership, and exceptional operational and financial discipline. You will own end-to-end implementation outcomes, including delivery quality, timelines, data readiness, customer satisfaction, and the financial performance (margins) of the delivery organisation.


A Day in the Life

You will lead and execute the enterprise data vision by aligning data strategy with business objectives, architecting scalable cloud-based data platforms, and building high-performing Data Engineering and Analytics teams. You will ensure strong governance, reliability, and cost efficiency while enabling trusted self-service analytics. In close partnership with executive stakeholders, you will translate strategic priorities into impactful data initiatives and support advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities that drive enterprise-wide decision-making and growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy and Architecture: Define and execute the company's data engineering strategy. Design scalable data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, streaming systems). Oversee cloud data infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Team Leadership: Lead and grow data engineering teams. Hire senior engineers and managers. Establish engineering standards and best practices
  • Platform and Infrastructure: Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines: Manage real-time and batch processing systems. Ensure reliability, scalability, and security
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Science, Analytics, Product, and Engineering. Align data architecture with business goals. Support AI/ML and analytics initiatives.
  • Governance and Compliance: Data quality frameworks. Data governance policies. Regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc. )


Requirements:

  • 15-25 years of experience in healthcare delivery, health IT, population health, or payer/provider operations.
  • Deep expertise in healthcare data standards (HL7 FHIR, C-CDA, X12/EDI, Claims, Quality Measures).
  • Proven success leading large delivery or implementation organisations (200-500+ people).
  • Strong financial acumen and experience owning delivery P& L and margin performance.
  • Experience implementing complex healthcare data platforms, analytics solutions, or clinical systems at enterprise scale.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate with customer CXOs.
  • Demonstrated operational discipline, problem-solving, and accountability mindset.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or healthtech environments.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strong understanding of value-based care, care management, risk adjustment, and quality programs.
  • Certifications in program management, technical architecture, or healthcare informatics.
