The Head of Hotel Growth will be a key player in the evolution of the Hotel business at Amex GBT. Partnering across the whole company, you will help to define and implement the strategy that will propel our organisational effort to the next level. What you'll do

Partner across the business to deliver the Hotel Growth Strategy

D efine clear success metrics surrounding the implementation, and execution of our overall Hotel Growth strategy

Build business cases to secure stakeholder buy-in and executive sign off to drive proposed change agenda

Help to prioritise focus areas, defining the implementation roadmap, mobilising resources and leading cross-functional initiatives

Support the Hotel Commercial Director and the Hotel Leadership team to maximise revenue opportunities

Advocate for and champion divisional priorities through cross-divisional leadership, while maintaining a one-GBT approach that ensure s we do what’s best for the company

Lead proactive identification and mitigation of issues and risks. Leverage experience to anticipate risks in advance of impacts. Integrate business and cross-division perspective into issue/risk identification & mitigation. Decide mitigation strategies (when appropriate)

Apply knowledge of the business and financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive high-impact projects that support the organization and contribute to financial performance

Create an open and accountable environment across the broader cross functional Hotel team to enable on time delivery of initiatives.

Define reporting framework to keep executive leadership informed on Hotel as part of the overall business strategy , supporting the Director Business Planning & Operations to spot cross-initiative dependencies and issues to help drive the overall business strategy.

What we need from you

Bachelor's degree or MBA degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience

Extensive experience in program management and strategic initiative management

Strong demonstrated experience in organization design and culture, team and community and mentorship

Passionate about implementing the Hotel strategy by solving complex business challenges, planning and execution of strategic initiatives, and partnering with cross functional teams to drive a shared agenda

Strong communicator and can drive cross company collaboration, often through storytelling and persuasion to connect vision, strategy, and action plans at the organizational level

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment across various teams and time zones, with a strong bias for action

Displays an analytical, innovative and creative approach with strong attention to detail

Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes making recommendations for improvement, sponsoring and staging workshops/knowledge sessions to improve the organization's functional knowledge and acuity, and leveraging insights and subject-matter experts to overcome challenges

Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, process large quantities of data and make relevant connections to business implications
