Role Description

Under the direction of Leadership, the IT Senior Applications Analyst is responsible to empower our community through the continuous development, deployment, and support of vendor proprietary enterprise application software. The Senior Application Analyst supports software that is necessary to run clinical, financial, or business systems within a large integrated health system.

  • Analyze existing and proposed vendor supplied software functionality to determine conformity to current health system workflow processes.
  • Collaborate with business operations to understand and define system requirements to develop innovative solutions meeting customers' needs.
  • Perform expert level support and configuration of assigned applications.
  • Train and/or mentor new or less experienced colleagues.
  • Understand and conform to HonorHealth's project and change management methodologies.
  • Lead moderate to high complexity projects leveraging the project management framework.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for off hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches, and project task fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, or related field - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, or related field - Required

Requirements

  • 5 years of Healthcare, consulting, or IT related experience demonstrating an advanced understanding of standard tools, workflow processes, and/or procedures and concepts used in the deployment and development of application software necessary to run healthcare systems business, clinical or financial systems - Required
  • 8 years of Healthcare, consulting, or IT related experience demonstrating an advanced understanding of standard tools, workflow processes, and/or procedures and concepts used in the deployment and development of application software necessary to run healthcare systems business, clinical or financial systems - Preferred
  • Certification for assigned application should be obtained within designated timeframe per policy - Required
  • Training and/or certification in assigned application. Certification or licensure for clinical, revenue cycle, or business unit that primary application supports. Epic certification as applicable for assigned team - Preferred
