Summary:

The Training Implementation Specialist will be responsible for developing engaging learning experiences by producing high quality training content that assist in driving learner success and experience for all Biomat USA projects, initiatives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other requests. Performs a wide variety of tasks, from designing training materials to incorporating complex interactive multi-media. Leverages tools and technologies to appropriately support a variety of learning delivery methods for face-to-face classroom instruction, simulation-based skills training, e-Learning, webcasts, webinars, audiocasts, podcasts, vodcasts, mobile learning and/or blended course strategies.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create industry leading training materials leveraging a multitude of creative software suites.              
  • Create and implement all new SOP training materials for Biomat USA stakeholders.
  • Create enhanced projects and initiative support materials for Biomat USA stakeholders.      
  • Conduct needs analysis with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define instructional objectives, business outcomes and overall requirements of learning solutions.
  • Develop and deliver creative programs for all levels of employees from new hire to experienced leaders.
  • Develop training engaging training call platforms and materials to engage large audience groups.
  • Develop enhanced project plans and tracking metrics.
  • Design and develop learning strategies and solutions that are performance-focused, effective, engaging and innovative.    
  • Apply adult learning theories and principles in the design and development of instructional materials with a variety of delivery methods.
  • Conduct needs assessment and creates performance-based learning objectives in an effort to design and develop learning solutions that yield business results.
  • Schedule, attend, and lead training project meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Schedule and lead training sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Make recommendations to ensure performance outcomes are identified and integrated into learning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement follow up activities to reinforce the retention, understanding and application of performance-based curriculum.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Develop user assessment instruments and training.
  • Be an influential thought partner in the development of the long-term vision and strategic direction of the Technical Training Department.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to develop a vision for adopting emerging educational technologies that address teaching and learning needs for the business. 
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate learning technology programs.
  • Knowledge of current practices in the administration of technology-based learning systems.
  • Expertise in developing complex training mediums.
  • Excellent knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of adult educational learning theories.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation style communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a customer focus and achieve learning goals.
  • Ability to manage, synthesize, and communicate complex information.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Educational Technology, or related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements.  Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years experience, and equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience. 

 

 

Occupational Demands:

Read and review documents for up to four hours at a time, and review via computer various documents and email for 8 hours a day.  Stand for extended periods.  Be able to lift, tug, and pull up to 15 pounds.  Have the ability and availability to travel by automobile or airplane.

 

 

Pay scale of $79,130.00 - $118,696.00 per year for US Candidates depending on training, education and experience. This position is eligible to participate in up to 8% of the company bonus pool.
