Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Assistant to support individuals in their daily living activities within a care home or private residence. The successful candidate will provide personalised assistance, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of clients. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through dedicated home care support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
  • Help with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation in accordance with care plans
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals (training provided if necessary)
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure holistic care delivery
  • Support clients with social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being
  • Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation

Pay: £12.21-£14.34 per hour
