Hospital Resource Building Security Officer

Securitas Northern New England is hiring a Full Time Security Officer at a large hospital in Westbrook, Maine. Our ideal candidate is former/current military, former law enforcement, from a security background or from a healthcare setting. While that is preferred, it is not a requirement and we are happy to teach, train and mentor individuals with less experience.

Our healthcare security officers provide crucial support at the hospital and work in close collaboration with medical center clinical staff to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff and visitors.

Shift: Tuesday - Friday

Time: Midnight - 08:00AM (32 hours a week)

Pay: $22.00

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a hospital setting
  • High level of professionalism
  • Walking/standing for long periods of time
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Dependability
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and potentially stressful environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • At least 18 years old
