The team

The EMEA M&A team, ranked as a top 3 franchise in EMEA, advises clients on public and private M&A transactions across all sectors, offering holistic financial advice.

The team works primarily on live high-profile transactions, facilitating strategic client dialogue, and leading dedicated initiatives across areas such as sell-side, defense and activism, public M&A, UK M&A, and spin-offs. Analysts in the team will gain experience working across all sectors, regions, and with other product teams, while developing a strong generalist toolkit and learning M&A tactics. They will also receive meaningful client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to live deals early in your career

 

Programme overview  

This is a full‑time Analyst role in the EMEA M&A team, offering broad exposure across live M&A transactions and client work.


Training and development

Analysts will attend formal training covering accounting, modelling, valuation and M&A process, with continued on‑the‑job learning and mentorship.

 

Responsibilities

As an Analyst, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups providing you with a unique learning opportunity
  • Help the team deliver solutions to clients leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's capabilities
  • Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis
  • Build relationships, knowledge and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future careers
  • Actively participate in executing transactions, including work with clients as well as representatives of other investment banks and other advisors

 

Eligibility

  • Candidates are required to have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
    • For candidates who have already graduated, the graduation date is required to be between September 2025 and July 2026.
    • For candidates who are still pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, the completion time frame must be before June 2026. Completion means that you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation. Please note that we reserve the right to request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer.
  • Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS point (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent
  • Must be available to start full‑time in July
