Position Responsibilities:

Translate high-level business requirements into functional and detail designs. Work with a cross-divisional team to develop systems, prototypes and host systems/platforms. Discover, document and automate business processes. Work with multiple high volume data sources to generate historic and predictive reports. Own the system performance and provide continuous improvements. Build platforms that increase Free Cash Flow, reduce cost, improve productivity, or increase controllership for the Finance Operations and Central Accounting businesses. Enable Finance Operations and Central Accounting by building scalable, reliable technology solutions that facilitate Amazon's growth.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Systems Analyst, Software Engineer or Developer, or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): using database design, data structures and complexity analysis; and providing application support using Oracle, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX/Linux shell scripting, and ETL tools.
