**Local Richmond, VA candidates required due to onsite requirement

**This position requires onsite several days a week, NO exceptions

**Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through VDOT's Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking

The Virginia Dept of Transportation IT Service Management portfolio is seeking an individual with significant expertise implementing ITIL methodology to support the delivery of IT services in an Enterprise environment. This person should be ITIL v4 certified and have real world experience assessing and implementing Service Catalog, Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Release management at a minimum. ITSM would utilize this resource to evaluate existing processes, identify gaps in workflow and process and provide relevant recommendations for improvement.

Knowledge/Skills:

- ITIL v4 Practice Manager or Managing Professional certification

- Experience working with stakeholders at various organization levels to gather requirements and information required to analyze and develop recommendations related to ITIL practices

- Experience implementing ITIL methodologies for the following ITIL practices: Service Catalog, Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Release management

- Demonstrated ability to analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and work with relevant stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex technical ideas to audiences with various levels of technical knowledge
